pinkcatcharmsandcrafts.co.uk is operated by Centraserve Ltd, a company registered in England. For any privacy question, or to exercise any of the rights below, use the contact form — it's the only way to reach us. Centraserve Ltd is the data controller for this site.
What we collect, and why
Server logs
Our web server records each request: IP address, timestamp, the URL requested, the referring page and your browser's user-agent string. This is ordinary web-server logging, kept to keep the site running and to spot abuse. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site. Logs are retained for 30 days and then deleted.
The contact form
If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you type. We use these only to answer you. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Messages are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. The form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA to block automated spam — see Google's advertising and privacy terms below.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read. It sets cookies and collects a truncated IP address, page paths, approximate location (country/region), device type and referrer. It is configured not to collect anything that identifies you personally, and we never upload personal data to it.
Advertising
This site carries Google AdSense advertising, which is how the hosting is paid for. Google and its partners may set cookies or read existing ones to serve and measure ads. Where you have consented, this can include personalised advertising based on your browsing across other sites.

Strictly necessary cookies (session and security) are set without consent, as UK PECR permits. Who your data is shared with
We do not sell data and we do not share it with anyone except the processors that make the site work: our hosting provider (Akamai/Linode, EU and UK data centres), Cloudflare (CDN and DDoS protection) and Google (analytics, advertising, reCAPTCHA). Google may transfer data outside the UK; those transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have data erased, where we have no overriding reason to keep it;
- restrict or object to our processing, including objecting to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive data you gave us in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
Use the contact form and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

If any page here contains information about you that you want corrected or removed, contact us and we will act on it.
